Store Credit & Reward Points FAQ

What is the Store Credit Program?
To thank you all for your support and to offer future incentives to you we would like to give something back, this is why we have launched this great Store Credit Program.
Our Store Credit Program is as simple as it sounds. While shopping at afStore you will earn Shopping Points for the money you spend.
Once earned, you'll be able to use those points to pay for future purchases at afStore.
The Store Credit Program began testing on 10th Jan, 2009 . Only purchases made after that date will earn points.

How does the Program work?
When an order is placed, the total amount of the order (not including shipping cost) will be used to calculate the amount of points earned. These points will be automatically generated by our system, they will be released to your account after the 20th days after your order being processed.
Store credits do not expire and can be accumulated until you decide to use them.
You must login to your account in order to view your points. You could find the store credit sidebox at the right column after you login to your account.
During the checkout procces you'll be able to pay for your order with your points balance.

Points and Values
Currently, the store credit rate is 2% of the item amount. (Updated from 1.5% to 2% on May 11th, 2009)
For example:
Product Cost: $200.00
Value of Points Earned: $4.00

Redeeming Shopping Points
If you have a balance in your store credits, you can use those points to pay for purchases made at afStore.
During the checkout proccess, on the same page that you select a payment method, there will be a box to select if you wish to use your points, as well as information on the total amount of points available. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough to cover the cost of your purchase.
Continue the checkout procedure and at the confirmation page you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed will have been credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Store Credits will be updated and deducted from your balance.

Minimum Points Required
Currently, no minimum balance required to redeem them.

Minimum Purchase Amount Required
Currently, no Minimum Purchase Amount required to redeem your points.

Maximum Points Redeemptions allowed per order
Currently, there is no maximum amount of points you can redeem per order, so save for that big prize.

Will I earn points for shipping fees?
No.
When calculating the amount of points earned. shipping fees are excluded.

Will I earn points for discounted products?
Yes.
When calculating the amount of points earned. All items which their price have been discounted are included, points will be awared to the discount price value.

Will I earn points when purchases paid with points?
No.

Products Restrictions
Currently, no restrictions apply to what items may be purchased using your points balance.

Conditions of Use

Store Credits can only be collected and used with online purchases. and are only validated at afStore.
Points are non-refundable and can't be transferred between member's.
Store Credits are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
Store Credits will not be refunded for any cancelled order.
When calculating the amount of points earned. shipping fees and taxes are excluded.
